I managed not to eat my usual late night snack this evening which is great except it has left me with a terrible headache. I know it's because of not eating and not something else.
I have had this terrible snacking problem for a long time. I'm not really hungry, but I get a headache if I don't eat something. My question is if I suck it up and suffer through it the next week, will it go away?
I'd love to quit late night snacking, but not if I feel like this every night.

In the meantime, is there any way you could gradually quit the snacking and save yourself some pain? Like maybe eating celery/carrot sticks, just so it's SOMETHING?
Good luck!

I used to be "addicted" to cola drinks, and when I quit, cold turkey, I had a raging headache for five days.

Try to have dinner a bit later or, have a glass of milk or a small piece of fruit.
Good luck!

Oh my! I would say that you are either suffering from a migraine and/or hypoglycemia. (LOW blood sugar) Me thinks a trip to the doctor is a must.

Try having a water bottle around during your snacking time and replace it with the snacks you used to have. If it does not help the headache after a week or so, I would go back to eating sacks but a small amount and work your way up to when you know it is helping the headache.
If the headache is the cause of low sugar, drinking a small glass of milk will help definetly and it might even tie you over till the next meal.

I would take a run to the doctor for a blood test to see if any form of diabetes (hypoglycemia) just to be sure as half the people who have it don't realize it.

If the headache is the cause of low sugar, drinking a small glass of milk will help definitely and it might even tie you over till the next meal.
