Salmon, Veggies and Rice-a-Roni

I actually made it thorugh the afternoon without a snack which is something that hasn't happened in years, but by evening I was starving. I had a good meal - salmon, steamed veggies and rice-a-roni.



Still going through soda withdrawals with a headache. Don't believe people that say that they aren't addictive. Hopefully I'll be over them by the end of the week and I won't break down before then.

    It appears that you are eating HUGE portions. Try reducing your portions but eating mroe frequently. It boosts your metabolism into overdrive, and you never feel hungry.

    3 oz is the standard serving size for a fish filet.. yours looks to be more like 8 oz.. 1/2 a cup of rice, I'd estimate that to be more like a cup.... Both are about twice the standard portion size.

    The problem I have if I eat more frequently is that it ends up being junk food and just as much during the meals. I hope to one day be able to reduce the portions, but right now I'm just trying to eat healthier. Baby steps

    Looks delicious. I swear I was raised on rice-a-roni. I like the Herb and Butter and Rice Pilaf best. Haven't made any in years though.
